Thoughts on kimono remake
A bespoke kimono at the time of marriage or a kimono that has been given to a person as a memento of his or her family
In this day and age, Japanese people do not often get the change to wear a kimono, so even if you gave one to your family members, they would not appreciate it.
There are a lot of kimonos that are left in my chest of drawers that cannot be disposed of because they are filled with the thoughts and feelings of the person who ordered.
Remake your kimono into a UV parasol and connect your thoughts and feelings with the shape that is easy for your daughter or daughter-in-law to use and cherish.
We would like to make your daughter or daughter-in-law smile, not only as a gift for yourself, but also as a gift from your mother or mother-in-law.
Benefits of kimono remake
ONLY ONE
No two kimonos are the same. Parasols and clothes finished with kimonos that you will love and remember will be reborn as original items that are unique in the world.
PATTERN
Kimono has various patterns and color schemes. In addition, many designs that have been regarded as lucky charms have been used since ancient times. The patterns and color schemes that have been handed down from ancient times feel very fresh even in modern times.
LUCKY ITEM
Umbrellas have long been treated as lucky charms in Japan. It seems that there was also a custom of preparing an umbrella as one of the wedding tools. As a remnant of those days, the custom of presenting umbrellas and parasols still remains on Respect for the Aged Day, Mother's Day, and celebrations.

Due to the characteristics of a remake parasol made of natural fiber silk, discoloration such as sunburn and yellowing tends to occur over time. Please note this in advance.
As a measure against UV rays and waterproofing, we will spray UV cut spray and waterproof spray for cloth after completion. The effects of each will gradually diminish, so please perform maintenance such as spraying UV cut spray and waterproof spray once a year after purchase.
Regarding waterproof measures, it is a parasol that uses kimono fabric, so it is not a perfect parasol for both sunny and rainy weather. Please refrain from using it in rainy weather as it may cause discoloration, discoloration and shrinkage. It will be waterproof to the extent of water droplets, so if it gets dirty, please wipe it off as soon as possible.
At Hanamizuki, we take the time to make each item carefully. Delivery may take from one month to one and a half months. Please note that.
When you place an order, the price will be paid in advance. We do not offer refunds for cancellations made after payment, so we appreciate your understanding.
We have taken all possible measures to compensate for the kimono we have received, but if it becomes difficult to make a parasol due to force majeure such as natural disasters or theft, or due to negligence during production, compensation will be based on the insurance coverage standard. Thank you for your understanding.
